Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Triibe platform operated by TriibeUK Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales ("Triibe", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the platform in any capacity — as a member, instructor, or studio — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1. About Triibe

Triibe is a community platform connecting yoga, pilates, and reformer instructors with members and studios. We provide tools for instructors to share content, offer plans and in-person classes, and manage their practice; for studios to manage schedules, bookings and their communities; and for members to discover classes, follow instructors and purchase available services.

TriibeUK Ltd acts as a technology platform and marketplace facilitator. We are not a party to the individual agreements between instructors, studios, and their members, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Triibe. By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@triibe.ai if you suspect any unauthorised access.

You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person, or transfer your account to a third party without our prior written consent.

3. The Triibe Community

Triibe is built on trust between instructors, studios, and members. By using the platform, you agree to:

  • Treat all other users with respect and courtesy
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and listings
  • Only post content you have the right to share
  • Not harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any user
  • Not use the platform for any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purpose
  • Not attempt to circumvent Triibe's payment systems to transact directly with users you met on the platform
  • Not reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or resell any part of the Triibe service
  • Not upload malware, spam, or any content that could harm other users or the platform

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these standards or that we determine, at our sole discretion, is harmful to our community.

4. Instructors

Instructors are independent professionals who use Triibe to share their expertise, host content, and connect with members and studios. By creating an instructor profile, you confirm that you are self-employed or otherwise operating your practice independently and that you hold any required qualifications, insurance, and licences for the services you offer.

4.1 Platform Fee

Triibe charges instructors a 3% platform fee on class transactions and Plans that include class access, and a 10% platform fee on digital content transactions, including videos, programs and challenges, and digital-only Plans. Instructors therefore keep 97% of class and bundled Plan payments and 90% of digital content and digital-only Plan payments, before any refunds or disputes.

There is no monthly Triibe subscription, setup fee or separate payment-processing fee for instructors. Triibe pays Stripe processing and Connect costs from its applicable 3% or 10% share; these are never added to the instructor's platform fee. Any taxes applicable to your own earnings remain your responsibility.

4.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Triibe — videos, posts, class descriptions, programs, and challenges. By posting content, you grant Triibe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where copies exist in backups or have already been shared with other users.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

4.3 Payouts

To accept payments you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, including any identity, business and bank-account checks Stripe requires. Stripe handles transfers to your registered bank account subject to its payout timing, account status and terms. Payouts may be delayed or restricted for verification, disputes, chargebacks or suspected fraud, subject to applicable law.

5. Studios

Studios use Triibe to manage class schedules, bookings and their community of members and instructors. By registering as a studio, you confirm you are authorised to operate the studio and to enter into these Terms on its behalf.

5.1 Platform Fee

Triibe charges studios a 3% platform fee on class transactions and Plans that include class access, and a 10% platform fee on digital content transactions, including videos, programs and challenges, and digital-only Plans. Studios therefore keep 97% of class and bundled Plan payments and 90% of digital content and digital-only Plan payments, before any refunds or disputes.

There is no monthly Triibe subscription, setup fee, fixed per-transaction charge or separate payment-processing fee for studios. Triibe pays Stripe processing and Connect costs from its applicable 3% or 10% share; these are never charged on top. Studios must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to accept payments and receive payouts, subject to Stripe's verification and payout requirements.

5.2 Studio Responsibilities

Studios are responsible for the accuracy of all class information, pricing, and availability published on the platform. You are responsible for honouring bookings made through Triibe and for handling any disputes with your members in a fair and timely manner. Triibe is not liable for any claims arising between studios and their customers.

5.3 Instructor Relationships

Where studios connect with instructors through Triibe, those relationships are between the studio and the instructor directly. Triibe does not employ instructors and is not responsible for the conduct, qualifications, or performance of any instructor.

6. Members

Members join Triibe to discover classes, follow instructors, book in-person classes, purchase content or plans, and engage with the community. By creating a member account, you agree to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

When you purchase an available plan, class booking, credit pack or piece of content through Triibe, the contract for that service is between you and the instructor or studio. Triibe facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of the class or content. If you have a dispute about a purchase, please contact the relevant instructor or studio in the first instance. If the matter cannot be resolved, contact us at hello@triibe.ai.

7. Payments and Refunds

Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Payments and connected-account onboarding are handled by Stripe, subject to Stripe's applicable terms. Triibe does not store your full payment card number. The instructor or studio's offer and checkout details determine what you are buying and the price you pay.

Class availability, booking changes and cancellation terms may vary by instructor or studio and should be checked on the listing and at checkout. A purchased class credit or pack can be used only for eligible classes with the issuing instructor or studio, subject to its stated validity and availability. Credits and bookings are not cash and cannot be transferred to another provider.

For refunds or booking changes, contact the relevant instructor or studio first, or Triibe at hello@triibe.ai. A cancellation does not automatically guarantee a cash refund; the applicable offer terms and your statutory rights apply. Triibe may process refunds for errors, cancellations or disputes where appropriate. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer law.

7.1 Recurring plans and trials

Some instructor plans renew monthly or yearly; other offers are one-off purchases, fixed-term plans or credit packs. Before you pay, check the displayed billing frequency, trial (if any), renewal terms, included benefits, credit validity and any minimum commitment. A recurring plan may charge automatically after a trial and at each renewal until it is cancelled. You can request cancellation through the account controls where available or by contacting us; an agreed minimum commitment may prevent cancellation before its end date, except where law gives you an earlier right. The cancellation confirmation will tell you when access ends. Cancelling a recurring plan does not by itself refund earlier charges.

7.2 Class cancellations and returned credits

If you cancel an eligible class booking within the instructor or studio's accepted cancellation period, you are entitled to one returned class credit for the type of class booked. This applies to eligible membership-funded bookings with an instructor or studio and to paid one-off bookings. For example, cancelling a Yoga class returns one Yoga credit; cancelling a one-off Reformer class returns one Reformer credit. Check the cancellation deadline shown for your booking before cancelling. A late cancellation does not qualify for a returned credit under this policy unless the provider agrees otherwise or applicable law requires it.

If an instructor or studio cancels a class, each student with an affected paid or credit-funded booking is entitled to one matching class-type credit and must be notified by email. This provider-cancellation policy applies even when the class is cancelled inside the member cancellation cutoff. For example, if an instructor cancels a Yoga class with five paid bookings, each of those five students is entitled to one Yoga credit.

Cancelling your own booking made with an unlimited membership does not create an extra bankable class credit, because no finite credit was used; your unlimited membership access remains unchanged. If the instructor or studio cancels that funded booking instead, the matching class-type credit policy applies.

A returned credit is specific to the booked class type and the original instructor or studio. It cannot be exchanged for a different class type or transferred to another provider: a Yoga credit cannot be used for a Reformer class. A class credit is not an automatic cash refund, and this policy does not replace any right to a cash refund required by applicable consumer law. If an eligible credit has not been returned, contact the provider or Triibe support with your booking details.

Read our class cancellations and credits guide for examples and support steps.

7.3 Refund requests for online content

You can request a refund for purchased online content by signing in and using the Report Video reporting control on the relevant video, program or challenge page. The page labels this control Report this video, Report this program or Report this challenge. Select Other and use the details field to state that you are requesting a refund, explain the reason and provide the relevant purchase information.

Submitting a report sends a request for review; it does not automatically approve or issue a refund. Requests are assessed against the purchase terms, the circumstances of the request and applicable consumer law. If you cannot access the content or submit the report, contact Triibe support. Do not include payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive credentials in a report.

See how to request a refund for online content for step-by-step instructions. Nothing in this process limits your statutory consumer rights.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Triibe platform — including software, design, trademarks, logos, and any content created by us — is owned exclusively by TriibeUK Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use our intellectual property without our express written permission.

"Triibe" and the Triibe logo are trademarks of TriibeUK Ltd. You may not use these marks in any way that could cause confusion or that implies endorsement by Triibe without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy and Data

Please read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. Instructors and studios who receive customer data through Triibe remain independently responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, when using it for their own services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Triibe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content posted by instructors or studios.

Your use of the platform and any content or services obtained through it is entirely at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TriibeUK Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you to Triibe in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100.

12. Termination and Suspension

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@triibe.ai. Closure does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already charged.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, posed a risk to other users or the platform, or if required to do so by law. Where practical, we will notify you before taking action and give you an opportunity to respond.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Content you have published may be removed, and any pending payouts may be withheld pending investigation if we believe a breach has occurred.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our business, or applicable law. Where changes are material, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or via the platform before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of Triibe after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform before the changes take effect.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you have a complaint or dispute with us, please contact us first at hello@triibe.ai and we will do our best to resolve it directly before either party resorts to formal legal proceedings.
